Leeds Music Education Partnership
All children and young people should be able to access
high quality opportunities in music-making. The Leeds Music Education Partnership (LMEP) is the Arts Council-supported music education hub for Leeds, of which ArtForms www.artformsleeds.co.uk is the lead partner.
Both
ArtForms and our wide range of partners provide great
music opportunities in local communities, in schools and city-wide. We
cover a huge range of musical styles and genres, and have opportunities
for those starting out in music through to those who have already
reached a very high standard of performance.
LMEP arose from a sharing of values and vision between ArtForms and its partners. It offers the children and young people of Leeds a coherent and comprehensible offer, joining up the breadth of first access in all its forms to the diversity of excellence which this great city offers.
